The village has a number of clubs and groups many of which meet at the Village Hall.
A monthly schedule of group meetings and activities can be found on the Events Diary page of this website and is also published on the Clifton Village Facebook Page
The Clifton Village Garden Group is a friendly and welcoming group for anyone with an interest in gardening. Through expert speakers and organised visits, members can learn new skills, share knowledge and enjoy the company of fellow gardening enthusiasts.
From April to August, the group organises visits to local gardens instead of indoor meetings.
During the indoor season (September–April), meetings feature professional guest speakers covering a wide range of gardening topics. Some speakers run their own nurseries and often bring plants that are not commonly available in garden centres.
In the summer months (April–August), members enjoy organised visits to local gardens, many of which participate in the National Garden Scheme and raise money for charity.
The village art group meets twice a month, on alternate Tuesdays, starting at 2pm for 2 hours.
We are a small, friendly group and welcome all levels of skills including beginners. We work in watercolours, pastels and acrylics along with a variety of drawing materials. The subject matter varies from one session to another and includes work on flowers, still life, portraits and composition including abstracts. This makes for a variety of interest and experiences. All materials are provided along with refreshments.
The cost is £5 per session.

Chloe Evans is a qualified pelvic health physio and Pilates instructor. Chloe teaches Matwork Pilates and Pelvic Floor Pilates classes in the village hall. The one-hour sessions are open to both men and women.
These are very friendly group classes, with only a small number of people in the group. Chloe makes sure that the exercises are done correctly and adapts them if needed.

Go out on your own or join team events. It's a social activity, meeting like-minded residents. Participants find it very satisfying and at the same time giving your body and mind a little gentle exercise.
Register online for your free kit: gloves, Hi-Viz vest, litter pick and bags.
Our local group meets every second Saturday of the month. Participants should gather at 10:15 for a 10:30 start: sessions are planned to last 1½ hours.
